Crown, bridge, or veneer that has fallen off

A crown, bridge, or veneer may have fallen off because: 1) Excessive force: eating something hard or trauma to the teeth. 2) Decay under the restoration: if bacteria get under the restoration, the tooth may decay causing the cement to bonding to come undone. It is important to call our dental office as soon as possible if your crown, bridge, or veneer falls off because the teeth underneath are at risk. If you eat or bite down on the tooth without the restoration you are at risk of breaking of cracking the tooth, which will cause discomfort and may cause you to loose the tooth. You may also feel pain or sensitivity on the teeth when exposed without the restoration. This situation can also be embarrassing. Call our dental office at (714) 527-7773 for an emergency appointment today.
